Previous Works
I wanted to share some of my previous pieces. Most were done last year. You can kinda see the transformation. The Memento Verde actually did not have the skull at first. I added that later on after being inspired by Banksy's
movie, Exit Through the Gift Shop
. I will probably incorporate more hands on painting in my future works. It will take longer to finish stuff, but you can really tell the difference between something that was done in one day versus something that took 2 weeks to do. Also planning on doing a series dealing with one theme. I have to really start doing that because i feel as though my artwork is all over the place.

Religion and Art
New piece that i finished a couple of days ago. Biggest work so far (on a 24X36 canvas
) I've always been amazed by how religious artworks affects humanity. Churches, synagogues, mosques, and temples are filled with artworks. It only makes sense to honor the two subjects and combine them together.

Weapon for Creating Peace
I wanted to explore creating something beautiful from images that were taken during the time of war. I chose a famous image taken by photojournalist Eddie Adams
on 1968. Here is a quick background.
February 1, 1968. Another day in a brutal and historic year. On a Saigon street, General Nguyen Ngoc Loan points a gun at a handcuffed Vietcong prisoner. Photojournalist Eddie Adams is there, camera in hand. The general, shirtsleeves rolled up comfortably, fires the gun. As the bullet penetrates the prisoner's skull, Eddie clicks the shutter. Soon, a momentary event becomes the photograph seen 'round the world. For Adams, for the general, for our perception of the Vietnam War, nothing was ever the same.
Our opinions might differ when it comes to war but at the end of the day, peace outweighs everything. This is the message that i was trying to portray with this new piece.

Exploring styles
Achieving a style of your own is probably one of the most difficult thing for an artist. This is what separates you from the rest. I feel that i'm not there yet, although i am enjoying the current evolution that my work is in right now.
Below are some of my recent works. All were done today. I love it when my mind is on "create mode". Pretty productive day.

First post! More things to come.
Met up with a couple of my best buds this morning. We decided to form a design group that will hopefully get big someday. I'll try to gather some ideas and post them here and on our (pending) official group site. I will also be using this blog to post images of my artwork, both old and new stuff.
